| An introduction to fundamental concepts in chemistry with an emphasis on problem solving. Topics to be covered include measurement in scientific study, the fundamentals of the periodic table, chemical bonding, chemical equations, and stoichiometry. This course is designed as a preparatory course for students who do not pass the chemistry placement exam but wish to eventually enroll in CHEM 111.
