Here are some past accomplishments of our UST Chemistry Alumni:

Jeff Culhane, (2002)  After completing his Ph.D at Johns Hopkins, Jeff is now a Postdoc at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA working with Barry Sharpless. 

Liz Davidson (2007) is a high school teacher at Fridley High School.

David Ebner (2002)  After completing his Ph.D. at California Institute of Technology under Brian Stoltz, David started a post doc at Princeton with Professor Erik J. Sorensen in the Fall of 2008.

Angela Kuhn (2003) is a high school teacher at Johnson High School in St. Paul.

Nell (Herrera) Wirth (2006) works at Innovative Surface Technologies (ISurTec).

Jessica Monson (2008) works in the Operations Analytical Lab at Boston Scientific.

Tina Nagel (2008) completed a second degree in Biomedical Engineering and works at Boston Scientific.

Cate Osterberg (2004) is a high school teacher at Como Park High School in St. Paul.

Laurie Parker (2000) received her Ph.D. in 2003 from the University of Glasgow, Scotland and after a post doc at University of Chicago she started as Assistant Professor at Purdue University in the Fall of 2008.

Carrie Peterson (1999) is in technical sales with 3M Aerospace Division.

Phil Remes (2003) finished his Ph. D. in Analytical Chemistry at the University of North Carolina with Gary Glish.  He currently lives in the Bay Area and works at Thermo Finnegan.

Emma Spahl (1998) is a dentist in the Twin Cities.

Fran Stevens (1999) finished her Ph. D. at MIT and is currently a staff member at the Los Alamos National Laboratory

Mark Ulrick (2004) is a forensic scientist with the Minneapolis Police Force.
