How do I log into Tk20?

1. Go to http://stthomas.tk20.com.

2. Use the same username and password you use for Blackboard and your UST email.

How do I complete my assignment in Tk20?

You are required to submit select assignments through Tk20. Please refer to the course syllabus or ask your instructor for the list of assignments that are to be completed in Tk20. Assignments submitted through this system will be scored in Tk20 by the course instructor.

Follow these steps to submit your assignment in Tk20:

1. Click the Courses tab from the top menu, click Assignments from the left-hand side menu, and then choose the assignment you'd like to complete.

2. Click the button on the right-hand side of the page under Assignment Submission (the button will likely be named "Add File" or "Dispositions Assessment").

3. Provide a title (required) and a description (optional) for your assignment.

4. If you are uploading a document into Tk20, drag and drop your file into the grey area, or click the Select Files button. If your assignment is a form built into Tk20, complete the form.

5. Once you have completed the assignment, click the Add button.

6. Finally, click the Submit button to send the assignment to your course instructor.

How do I unlock my assignment to make changes?

Did you submit your assignment by mistake or did you attach the wrong document? Once you click the Submit button, the assignment will be locked and you will no longer be able to make changes. If your assignment has not been assessed by the course instructor (i.e., status: Assessment Pending), you can recall the assignment using these steps:

1. Click the Courses tab from the top menu.

2. Click Assignments from the left-hand side menu.

3. Check the box next to the name of the assignment you want to recall.

Note: If the status of this assignment is Assessment Complete, you will not be able to recall it.

4. Click the recall button. A red flag will then appear next to the assignment title, meaning the assignment is open for editing.

5. You will now be able to go back into the assignment to make the necessary changes.

Note: Do not forget to re-submit the assignment after you've made your changes.

How do I view the instructor’s assessment of my assignment?

You can view the assessment status of an assignment by clicking on the Courses tab at the top and then clicking Assignments on the left-hand side menu. In the Status column, if it displays Assessment Pending your instructor has not yet scored your assignment. If it displays Assessment Complete, your instructor has scored the assignment and you can view the assessment by following these steps:

1. Click on the assignment.

2. On the right-hand side of the page, under the Assessment Tool(s) section, you should see a link to the rubric used to score your assignment. Click that link to view the scored rubric.

Note: If your instructor left comments on your assignment, open the document you uploaded by clicking on the link on the right-hand side of the page. Next, click the "View" link. Hover your cursor over any text in yellow to view comments from your instructor.

How do I complete an application?

1. Log in and select the Applications tab.

2. To create a new application, select Create from the side menu on the left. All available applications will appear in the dropdown menu.

3. Select the application you wish to complete.

Note: If you do not see the application you need, the application period may not have started or may be over.

4. Complete the application form. At the top and bottom of the page, you will see options to Save Draft, Submit or Cancel.

Note: You can save the application and return to it at a later time. It can be edited until the submission deadline. You can also recall an application after you have submitted it prior to the submission deadline (Status: Review in Progress).

5. To edit an application after it’s been submitted, click the application title, select Recall at the bottom of the page, make your changes, and Submit the application again.

Note: Submitted applications are labeled with a gold lock.

How do I complete my field experience/clinical practice binder?

In Tk20, the term “field experience” includes clinical practice. You can follow the steps below to complete the artifacts in your binder.

1. On Tk20 home page, click on the field experience binder in the Pending Tasks box. (You can also click the Field Experience tab from the top menu.) This will open up a new page with several tabs associated with the binder.

    • The assessment tab allows you to see any assessment tools that are used to evaluate you.
    • The extension tab allows you to see if any extensions have been granted to your binder.
    • The feedback tab is a place where you can view comments sent by your assessors.

 

2. Click the Artifact Wizard icon on the right of your screen.

3. When you’re ready to attach an assignment, click the link “Click here to Attach” under the Title column. A dialogue box with more instructions will pop up.

4. Choose the “Create a new…” option and click the Continue button.

5. Type in the title and description, fill out the form, then press Save.

6. Continue the same steps for other forms.

7. When you have completed all the required assessments, click the green Submit button. Click Save Draft if you want to complete your assessments at another time.

How do I complete my portfolio?

1. On Tk20 home page, click the Portfolio tab. You will see a list of portfolio(s) you need to complete.

2. Click on the portfolio you want to work on. To complete the portfolio, you can either use the Artifact Wizard icon, or use the tab for each section of the portfolio.

    • From the Home tab, click the Artifact Wizard icon. A new page of instructions and pending tasks will display. Or;
    • Click the tabs across the top of the page. Each tab is dedicated to one section of the portfolio.

 

3. When you’re ready to attach an assignment, click the link “Click here to Attach” under the Title column. A dialogue box with more instructions will pop up.

4. Choose the “Create a new…” option and click the Continue button. If you are reusing an existing artifact, in the Search box, enter the name of the artifact you previously saved in Tk20.

5. Type in the title and description, fill out the form or browse your computer for the document to upload, then press Save.

6. Continue the same steps for other documents.

7. Click Save Draft to complete creating a portfolio.

Note: Click Submit only when your portfolio is complete and ready to be assessed.

How do I recall a submitted portfolio?

Once you click “Submit”, a portfolio will be locked for editing. As long as it hasn’t yet been assessed by the instructor (status: Review in Progress), you can recall the portfolio by following these steps:

1. Click the Portfolios tab.

2. Check the box next to the portfolio you want to recall.

3. Click the recall button.

This will change the status of the portfolio from Review in Progress to Open for Editing. You can now edit the portfolio and re-submit it for assessment.
