David serves as the Events and Outreach Coordinator for the College of Applied Professional Studies (CAPS) at the University of St. Thomas. In this role David is responsible for the successful execution and management of all CAPS events and outreach initiatives; including, annual conferences, educational forums, social media communications, strategic partnerships, and alumni relations. In addition to his work at the University of St. Thomas, David is the Development and Communications Director at the Dr. Nancy I. English Memorial Foundation and serves on several non-profit boards.

David is a dedicated leader in the Twin Cities non-profit sector with experience in fundraising, strategic social media communications, staff professional development training, annual appeals, financial management, grant writing, public relations, marketing, web technology, special events, and project management. He has worked in the fields of youth development, homelessness, education, research, women’s rights, fundraising, and communications, and public relations at several local Twin Cities non-profits.

David is currently a candidate for the Masters in Public Policy and Leadership from the University of St. Thomas, with a concentration in education policy and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Augsburg College.
