The International Leadership Program is proud to offer this mini-forum, and welcomes speaker Kim Saville. Kim will speak about "St. Jude’s School: A High Class School for the Poorest of the Poor in Tanzania."

Kim Saville traveled to Tanzania in early 2002 to assist with the building of The School of St Jude. Her experiences in many and varied lines of work, as well as untapped skills such as digging ditches, planning classroom blocks, employing and managing staff and writing promotional material, made her a valuable addition to the school’s first staff members.

Twelve years later, Kim is still on the Management Team serving as the Director or International Relations, where she focuses on maintaining and developing the sponsor and donor base around the world.

Kim grew up in Papua New Guinea where her father established the country’s first agricultural college. Little did she realize that one day she would be following in his footsteps in helping to develop an important educational institution in another developing country.

Future international leaders and educators will learn a great deal from this success story.

The mini-forum is open to the public. Refreshment will be served.

Please RSVP your attendance to Elizabeth Wallace at wall9915@stthomas.edu or Dr. Jean-Pierre Bongila at jpbongila@stthomas.edu
