Cassandra O’Hern

Ms. Cassandra O’Hern is an Adjunct Professor for the Public Safety and Law Enforcement Leadership program in the College of Education, Leadership and Counseling at the University of St. Thomas. Ms. Hansen received her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, her MCO in Land Use Planning from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and her BA in International Relations and Economics from the American University in Washington, D.C.

Ms. O’Hern has previously served as the Assistant Attorney General for the State of Minnesota.  Ms. O’Hern has been teaching as an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas since 2005. She is the Director of Internal Affairs/Affirmative Action for the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (since 2005). Ms. O’Hern also serves as a facilitator/instructor for the IACP Leadership in Police Organizations and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Senior Management Series.
