Ms. Catherine Hansen is an Adjunct Professor for the Public Safety and Law Enforcement Leadership program in the College of Education, Leadership and Counseling at the University of St. Thomas. Ms. Hansen received her MA in Geography from Minnesota State University – Mankato and her BA in Geography from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.
Ms. Hansen has extensive experience as a geographic consultant and educator throughout Minnesota. She exhibits her management skills through her consulting, training coordination, and instruction positions. Ms. Hansen has been teaching geography courses for undergraduate and graduate programs since 1995. She is the Senior Adjunct Faculty member at St. Thomas (since 2001) and the St. Thomas Geography GIS Lab Manager (since 2005). She currently teaches multiple courses and manages student workers and GIS projects for internal and external clients. Ms. Hansen also serves as the Board of Directors Secretary for the Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium
