Mr. Mark Dunaski is the Assistant Commissioner in the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and an Adjunct Professor for the Public Safety and Law Enforcement Leadership program in the College of Education, Leadership and Counseling at the University of St. Thomas. Mr. Dunaski received his MA in Leadership from Bellevue University and is currently working on his PhD in Education with an emphasis on Organizational Leadership at North Central University. He received his BS from Bellevue in Criminal Justice Administration.
With more than 30 years of leadership experience in various law enforcement roles, Mr. Dunaski brings great expertise to the Public Safety and Law Enforcement Leadership program. During his tenure as Chief for the Minnesota State Patrol, he represented the interests of the 49 state police agencies of the United States, as well as the RCMP. He also served as the Executive Board member in the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) for the Provincial Police of Ontario and Quebec.
