Dr. Thomas L. Fish is a tenured faculty member of the Leadership, Policy and Administration department in the CELC. His areas of expertise include leadership, community education, survey research and higher education. He holds B.S. and M.Ed. degrees in social science and a doctorate in leadership.
Dr. Fish teaches courses in the master’s, educational specialist and doctoral programs in the department. These courses include Leadership and Organizational Theory, Survey Research, Culture, Values and Ethics, Higher Education Seminar, Integrative Seminar and Leadership Narratives. He possesses experience in a wide range of administrative roles in higher education having served in department chair, director of community education, associate dean and dean roles. He has been been at the University since 1972.
Dr. Fish is very service oriented, serving to constantly do whatever he can to create an environment wherein students, staff and faculty colleagues can strive to become and do their very best.
