Chientzu Candace Chou, Ph.D.
Organization Learning and Development
Dr. C. Candace Chou is an associate professor of Learning Technology. She has been designing and implementing online and blended learning for more than a decade.
She is the academic coordinator for the E-Learning Graduate Certificate, K-12 Learning Technology Certificate, and Master of Arts in Technology for Learning, Development, and Change programs. She teaches courses on Instructional Design for E-Learning, Online Teaching and Evaluation, Introduction to Technology Tools and Effective Learning, Immersive learning, Insights and Practices into Adult Learning, and Web-based Curriculum Design.
Her main research interests include design of distance learning environments, strategies of blended learning, pedagogy of emerging technologies, and online interactions. She has published extensively in journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings.

- 2004-2005, “Minnesota Educators and Leaders Technology Initiative (MELTI),” a subcontract to UST from the Enhancing Education Through Technology (E2T2) grant from the Minnesota Department of Education. This grant provided free professional training opportunity for fifty five K-12 educators to attend the Learning Technology Certificate Program at the University of St. Thomas ($195,251)
