Earth-space science is a broad course of study that draws from many disciplines – including physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics – to build a comprehensive understanding of how the earth, its systems and the cosmos in which it exists all work. Teachers in this content area help learners in grades 9-12 understand our home planet and its environment in space. Teachers often also earn an endorsement in general science, qualifying them to teach in grades 5-8. Explore our undergraduate major option.
