As Catholic Health Care Professionals familiar with medical science and increasing bio-technology, Curatio members strive to "humanize'' and bring to the sickroom and to their co-workers "something of God's charity." ( Paraphrased from Pope John Paul II)
Our Apostolate is to help integrate our faith with professional responsibilities, so we:
Pray for our co-workers and patients, building a community of prayer that is centered on the liturgy of the Eucharist.
Strive for holiness in caring for the sick – to see Christ in our patients and co-workers, living our faith-“fully” both at home and in our work.
Recover the sacred dimension of health care by re-discovering the meaning of vocation, profession, the dignity of the human person, the power of prayer and service to others.
Sponsor educational programs grounded in Church teaching that serve as a forum for dialogue on the ethical issues facing our profession.
