The University of St. Thomas

 

Close to 300 participants including several Cardinals, dozens of dignitaries and ambassadors and hundreds of university professors gathered at the Vatican to discuss the importance of the Second Vatican Council document Gaudium et spes (“The Church in the Modern World”).  Participants from over 35 different countries presented, responded and debated on the theological, economic and political implications of the document for our modern world.
