A practice interview can help you identify where you may already be strong in interviewing, as well as helping detect areas where your presentation could be improved. These fifty-minute sessions, with career counselors in the interviewer role, are recorded and then played back, as a the counselor offers feedback.
Mock interviews are digitally recorded on a computer. If you would like a copy of your interview please bring either a USB drive or blank CD-R. The recordings are approximately 20MB in size and are stored in the Windows video format (*.wmv). Due to their large size they cannot be E-mailed.
To schedule an appointment in either St. Paul or Minneapolis, please call (651) 962-6761.

It may be suggested that you prepare for the mock interview or practice what you learned in your mock interview by using a product called Interview Stream. Interview Stream is an online practice interviewing program freely available to University of St. Thomas students. Though a great tool for repeating practice interviews at your own pace, Interview Stream should not be used as a replacement to having live feedback obtained from an in-person mock interview with a counselor.
