2012 Survey Drawing Winners

Five survey respondents from the December 2011, Spring 2012, and Summer 2012 graduating classes were randomly selected to receive Amazon.com gift certificates. The winners were:

The drawing took place at the Career Development Center staff meeting on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11 a.m.

Staff members present were: Laura Lankton, Jennifer Rogers, Pa Nhia Lee, Diane Crist, Paul Strickland, Becky Durham, Mykala Micek, and Chad Kluck.

Each survey was assigned a unique three-digit ID number (001- 566). For the drawing, three sets of colored chips were placed in three separate cups. The first cup contained 6 red chips numbered 0-5, the second cup contained 10 white chips numbered 0-9 and the third cup contained 10 blue chips also numbered 0-9. A red chip was always drawn first, white second, and blue third in order to create a three digit number corresponding to an assigned survey ID number. For example: red 3, white 0, and blue 5 became the number 305 and red 2, white 7, blue 1 became 271.

The numbers for the top $100 prize were drawn first, $50 second, and lastly the three remaining $25 prizes. There were 566 eligible entries returned.

Drawing winners will be contacted by phone and email by March 22 and will be sent their gift certificates by March 30 through mail and email.

The 2012 Post Graduation Survey Report will be released and viewable on this website in early April. Thank you to all alumni who participated.

2012 Survey Drawing Rules

Entries accepted from November 1, 2012 through February 28, 2013

To be eligible for this drawing you must be a December or Spring/Summer graduate of a University of St. Thomas undergraduate program within the last 12 months. Limit one entry per graduate. Both the survey response and entry form (online or paper) must be submitted to the Career Development Center no later than February 28, 2013.

Five winners will be randomly drawn from the valid entries on or around March 15, 2013. The first winner will receive a $100 Amazon.com gift certificate, a second winner will receive a $50 Amazon.com gift certificate, and three additional winners will each receive a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate. Approximately 1,200 graduates have been sent surveys; chances of winning depend on the number of responses received by the Career Development Center. Winners will be notified by email, phone, or mail, and their names will be posted here on our web site and on the @USTGradSurvey Twitter feed.

Confidentiality

Because the Post Graduation Survey contains personal information, the Career Development Center does not report individual responses. The survey report is released in aggregate form and the drawing entry form is kept separate from survey responses. Participants requesting their address to be "officially updated" will have their new address sent to a St. Thomas alumni records office. Participants opting out of this service will not hinder their chances of winning and will have their entry form and address discarded after the drawing.
