2008 Survey Drawing

Five survey respondents from the December 2007 and Spring Summer 2008 graduating class were randomly selected to receive Amazon.com gift certificates. The winners were:

1. Kalsey Larson ($100)
2. Emily Bruhn ($50)
3. Patrick McCarthy ($25)
4. Erica Strand ($25)
5. Danielle Johnson ($25)

The drawing took place at the Career Development Center staff meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 11:00am.

Staff members present were (clockwise around table): Becky Durham, Diane Crist, Patricia Conde-Brooks, Chad Kluck, PaNhia Lee, Mike Merabella and Jennifer Rogers

Each survey was assigned a unique three-digit ID number (001- 568). For the drawing, three sets of colored chips were placed in three separate cups. The first cup contained 6 red chips numbered 0-5, the second cup contained 10 white chips numbered 0-9 and the third cup contained 10 blue chips also numbered 0-9. A red chip was always drawn first, white second, and blue third in order to create a three digit number corresponding to an assigned survey ID number. For example: red 3, white 4, and blue 2 became the number 342 and red 0, white 3, blue 3 became 033. 

The numbers for the top $100 prize were drawn first, $50 second, and lastly the 3 remaining $25 prizes. There were 563 eligible entries of the 574 returned. Six anonymous surveys were thrown out as they were not eligible for the drawing and there were 5 duplicates that were removed.  

Drawing winners were contacted by phone and E-mail on April 3 and will be mailed their gift certificates by April 11 through mail.

The 2008 Post Graduation Survey Report will be released and viewable on this Web site in late April. Thank you to all alumni who participated.
