2000 Post Graduation Survey Report

The information in this report covers students who graduated during the calendar year 2000. The University's Office of Institutional Research included questions about post-graduation status as part of their "Survey of Graduates-One Year Follow-Up," to May, and July 2000 graduates a year after graduation. Our office was provided with the results of the initial mailing, and followed with a mailed survey to December 2000 graduates, as well as those May and July 2000 graduates who had not responded to the Institutional Research survey. Graduates responded either by mail or electronically by a Web-based form.

The actual number of students graduating in 2000 was 1,040. Through the combined surveys of IR and CDC, the information was gathered on 477 students. This reflects a 45.8% response rate. Of those surveyed, 97 students indicated that they graduated with double majors. Those students have been counted in both major groups, which accounts for the total of 574 for "number contacted."
