How do I apply for on-campus interviews?
Once you have completed the orientation session, you will log into TommieCareers, fill out a profile and upload a resume if you have not already done so. Once your resume is uploaded, you may search for, and apply to, positions listed on the TommieCareers website.
TommieCareers is available to all undergraduate students regardless of their status in the On-Campus Interviewing program and provides many job search tools. You do not need to participate in On-Campus Interviewing to use TommieCareers. Visit TommieCareers for more information.
When am I eligible to participate in On-Campus Interviews?
Current undergraduate juniors and seniors are eligible to apply for On-Campus Interviewing Internships and jobs. Some employers may accept internship applications from sophomores. In addition, you are also eligible to participate one semester after you graduate from St. Thomas.
When can I apply for On-Campus Interviews?
Don't let the length of the fall and spring terms fool you. Companies are typically on campus only one day for interviews and application deadlines occur two weeks prior to the interview date. It is always best to stay informed from January-April and August-November about approaching deadlines and new opportunities. Opportunities come and go each day, and new positions may be added to the schedule at any time.
When do companies come on campus?
On-Campus Interviewing takes place during both fall and spring semesters. Fall On-Campus Interviewing begins end of September and typically winds down by early November. In spring, companies arrive in February and interview until mid-April.
Can I post my resume to TommieCareers now?
You may. However, you may not apply to positions offered through On-Campus Interviewing without first attending an orientation session. The session is intended to advise students about resources available and employer expectations. Employers easily spot students who are organized and prepared for the On-Campus Interview experience.
