Find out where the jobs are and make yourself known. Networking isn't just about mingling with employers at job fairs it also involves you getting your name out there to friends and employers. Because 2 out of 3 positions out there are not advertised, ask around to see if anyone is hiring. The Resource Center contains many directories of regional and national employers. You may also wish to join a job search support group in order to expand your network. The links below will help you learn the basics of networking and get you started.
