We use eRecruiting to manage the On-Campus Interviewing program. All positions with on-campus interviews should be posted in eRecruiting.
Go to http://stthomas.erecruiting.com/emp/sblogin to log in. If you have not logged in before, you will either need to create an account, or if you are replacing recruiter in your organization, log into their account and update the profile.
If the account you are using has never linked to St. Thomas's site, you will need what is referred to as a "School Key." Contact Jennifer Rogers (651) 962-6762 to receive a key. They will send you an E-mail with a link to activate your account.
Once you have linked to St. Thomas, go to your St. Thomas jobs section and post your position there. Be sure to state that the position "Requires a Schedule."
If you wish to schedule an information session on campus please contact Jennifer to establish a date and discuss other visibility activities. After a date and time has been determined you will be contacted by our office coordinator regarding event details (catering, technical needs, etc.).
Jennifer Rogers is the Employer Relations Specialist at the St. Thomas Career Development Center. She can help you with requests and date scheduling. You may call the Career Development Center at (651) 962-6761 and they will get you in touch with the person best suited to aid you.
Please make any changes to your schedule before you make interview selections. This is important because it prevents the shuffling of students on the schedule after they have signed up. It is recommended that you check your schedule as soon as possible after it is entered in eRecruiting and again before you make your decisions so that we can accommodate any changes. Please note that we cannot accommodate certain changes on short notice. If it is imperative to make a change after students have signed up please contact us at least 3 business days prior to your interview date.
The application deadline for students is two weeks before your scheduled interview date. This will give you, students, and us time to finalize schedules, notify candidates and alternates, and make any changes. It is recommended that you make decisions at least one week prior to your interview date.
It is also very important that you make a decision (Accept/Decline) regarding all candidates, otherwise the student’s account will perpetually read "Undecided." If you wish to make any changes to your selections after your initial decision contact Jennifer and she can assist you.
We recommend that if you are going to select alternates, coordinate this with Jennifer by supplying a list of your alternates in order of priority as soon as possible. Within a week before the interview date he will begin to contact alternates if the schedule has not yet been filled.
There is no need for you to notify students. After you have selected candidates to accept, eRecruiting will automatically send an E-mail to these students. It has been our experience that multiple E-mails relaying the same information creates confusion. If there are additional requests that you would like to ask of the students (such as filling out an online Human Resources form at your company Web site prior to the interview) we ask that you delay communication at least one day after your selections were made, if possible.
You may always contact students from the St. Thomas Résumé Books in eRecruiting. Résumé Books are not limited to On-Campus Interviewing and may be used year-round. The books are cleared out every August and students may then post their résumé during the school year. Résumé Books are an excellent source for candidates who may fit an immediate hiring need. Just log into eRecruiting and select Résumé Books from your University of St. Thomas account.
You may receive a résumé directly from a student while hosting an information session or other event on campus. We recommend that any student who is actively participating in On-Campus Interviewing use the eRecruiting system to submit résumés to visiting employers. Please contact Jennifer with the student’s name, phone number and E-mail address if you wish to interview a student who did not apply through eRecruiting.
