Professionals, Be a Career Contact!

Those who participate in this program may manage their activities through an online program called eRecruiting. As a contact, you will be able to:

  • Select the kinds of advice and information you want to provide (employer information, career advising, résumé review, etc.)
  • Control what personal information about you is shown to students.

To get started follow the steps below:

1. Request an account

Before you begin, you will need to request a username and password to create your profile. Fill out the online request form and you should receive your account in a few days.

2. Download documentation

The documentation below will help guide you through the system. Once you have an account, log into eRecruiting to update your profile. All documentation is available in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF)

  • Getting Started Guide for Career Contacts [PDF]

3. Log in and update your profile!

Once you receive an E-mail from the Career Center with your account information, you may log into eRecruiting to update your profile. A reminder will be sent out twice a year reminding you to keep it up to date.

Please note:

The Career Information Network's primary purpose is to connect students with professionals for an informational interview and is not intended for job search networking.

Career counselors may recommend the Career Information Network to recent alumni or alumni seeking a career change.

Professional contacts participating in the network include St. Thomas alumni and other professionals willing to help interested participants who have questions about a particular career path.
