Blackboard Community

Downloadable (and printable) presentations and handouts are available via our Blackboard (Bb) community in your browser or via an app for your mobile device. To access the additional documentation as well as any orientations (Job Fair or On-Campus Interviewing) follow the steps below.

1. Log into Blackboard

Log into http://blackboard.stthomas.edu using your UST username and password or click on the Community tab above the login form to preview.

Note: Previewing does not give you full access to our Bb community. If you have a UST username and password, it is best to use it.

2. Find our Bb Community

Go to the Community tab and click on Student Services under Organization Catalog.

Choose the Career Development Center or enroll using the double down arrow if you have not already done so.

Note: You must enroll to gain full access.  If you are not enrolled, click on the double down arrow next to Career Development and choose Enroll. If you have already enrolled, or are previewing the site, you may click on the Career Development Center link.

3. Choose Your Resource

Note: If you just enrolled in the Career Development Center community, you may need to click on the Refresh button in the left navigation bar. This is a one time task to view resources such as the Orientation.

Presentations and materials are listed under the Presentations, Guides, and Resources link.

Career Center Orientations

On-Campus Interviewing and Job and Internship Fair Interactive Orientations are two separate orientations located under the Orientation link on the left navigation bar. Please note that these resources will not appear if you are not enrolled in our Blackboard community (see step 2). If you do not see the Orientation link and you just enrolled, click on the Refresh link on the left navigation bar.

Blackboard Modile Learn App (for compatible devices)

You can use the Blackboard Mobile Learn(TM) app by Blackboard, Inc. to access your course sites as well as the Career Development Center community in Blackboard. It is free and is available for Blackberry or Android on Sprint and on WiFi only iPads and iPod Touch devices. The Blackboard site is optimized for the most common mobile browsers.

1. If you don't already have the Blackboard Mobile Learn(TM) app installed:
   1. Download the application to your mobile device.
   2. Once installed, search for "University of St. Thomas - Minnesota."
2. Log in and go to the "Organizations" icon.
3. Search for "Career_Dev_Center" (you will have already had to enroll via the web, see the above instructions).
4. For help navigating the application please refer to the information provided in the iTunes or Android Marketplace info page.
