Ask the Counselor

Ask the Counselor invites you to ask specific career or job-related questions and have them answered by one of our counselors.

The responses represent our best information or ideas and cannot be taken as career counseling. For individual career counseling, contact the Career Development Center (all undergraduate, alumni and non-law/non-graduate business students and alumni), the Graduate Business Career Services (graduate students and alumni of College of Business graduate programs) or the School of Law Office of Career and Professional Development (law students and alumni).

If you need a quick response, it may be better to call our office at (651) 962-6761 during normal office hours instead of contacting us via this form.

This form is sent to us by E-mail which is not a secure means of communication and confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. We cannot schedule appointments via E-mail and please understand that we are limited in the amount of counseling done through an online medium. We often encourage students to stop by our office and meet with a career counselor to better discuss career/job search related issues.

Be sure to check our our Frequently Asked Questions page as you may find an answer to your inquiry there.

Go ahead with your question by filling in the information below. We will get back to you with an answer as quickly as possible.
