Who Are We?

Student leadership is an important element of the VISION program. Leaders are current students who have significant VISION experience and are committed to the responsibilities associated with leading fellow students on trips. Group leaders participate in a year-round training program to become effective guides for students.

Leaders begin training on a spring retreat at the Gainey Center in Owatonna, MN. On this retreat students begin their transition from participant to leader. During the academic year the VISION team meets once each week for training, leadership development, team-building, and a more in depth exploration of the Six Components.
