Campus Ministry

Service Opportunities & Social Justice

Campus Ministry hopes to instill in students the Gospel’s call of service to our neighbors: those next door as well as those from across the world. In collaboration with the Center for Community Partnerships we invite students to explore service and justice opportunities in the Twin Cities, nationally and abroad.

VIA: Volunteers In Action

Volunteers In Action is a student-led organization that coordinates volunteer experiences for St. Thomas students at service organizations around the Twin Cities Metro Area. VIA has six sites that allow students to learn more about themselves while working to better their communities. Join us today to live out this year’s motto, “Service is a lifestyle,” and experience the power of making a difference!

VISION: Volunteers In Service Internationally or Nationally

Last year over 200 students participated in VISION, which provides opportunity for service experiences over J-Term and spring break. VISION trips are based on six components: service, simplicity, spirituality, community, justice issues, and intercultural exchange.
