Lord, I am not worthy
THAT YOU SHOULD ENTER UNDER MY ROOF,

Domine, non sum dingus,
ut intres sub tectum meum,
sed tantum dic verbo, et sanabitur anima mea.

Lord, I am not worthy
that you should enter under my roof,
but only say the word
and my soul shall be healed.

We used to say:

Lord, I am not worthy to receive you,
but only say the word and I shall be healed.

About

This translation update more directly quotes the Centurion who asked Jesus to heal his servant. It is an act of humility as Jesus enters under our roofs, into our physical bodies, uniting us into the one Body of Christ.
