I’m not Catholic. Can I still be involved with Campus Ministry?

Absolutely! Campus Ministry is eager for all students to grow in their faith while at St. Thomas. Students from a variety of Christian denominations and faith traditions are involved with our programs. While Campus Ministry is rooted in the Roman Catholic tradition we hope to encourage all students to embrace their relationship with God and others. More information can be found in our Statement of Ecumenical Principles.

How do I become involved with Campus Ministry?

Campus Ministry includes a wide variety of programs and services, from liturgies to music to service to retreats. Browse through this web site and submit an interest form electronically, or stop by our office. We will be delighted to have you!

I’m not sure where I’m at in my relationship with God . . . can Campus Ministry help?

Our office provides a supportive environment for students seeking to grow in their faith and understanding of God. Our staff members are ready to help you find resources for growing in your relationship with God.

Lately everything is going wrong, and I don’t know where to go. Who can I talk to?

We all experience times when we need some help. Perhaps it’s just a listening ear, or a place to go to feel welcome and safe. We hope you’ll think of Campus Ministry when you need someone. Campus Ministry offers you a place to talk one-to-one, and we can also assist you in accessing other University resources for support.

Meeting people at college has been hard—how can Campus Ministry help?

Campus Ministry works to build community at St. Thomas by establishing strong relationships. Hall Chaplains work in the residence halls to build community. Common Ground (2154 Summit Ave) is Campus Ministry’s house of hospitality and is designed to be your home away from home where you can be sure of a welcome. You can also meet other students through retreats, liturgies, music and service opportunities.
