CAMPUS MINISTRYMission Statement of Campus Ministry
The University of Saint Thomas is a community of learning, faith and service. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we support and challenge one another to treasure and manifest the presence of God in the world around us.
The mission of Campus Ministry is to reflect and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this community. We affirm the dignity of all persons and call others to do likewise by working for justice and peace. Rooted in the Roman Catholic Tradition, we worship as a Eucharistic community. Marked by faith, hope, and charity, we respect and welcome those of other faith traditions. We strive to instill social responsibility in each person and to foster an environment which supports the spiritual formation of all.
Mass Schedule
Masses are at 11:00 a.m. and 6:45 p.m in the Chapel of Saint Thomas Aquinas on Sundays.
Sanctuary Blessing
Join students, staff, and faculty in the blessing of the sanctuary at the 11:00am Mass on May 4th. All are welcome!
One Gospel
Celebrate with other Christian students the One Gospel Friday, May 2nd from 8:00 - 10:00pm.
Vatican Gone Green
Learn more about Church teaching on the envionment and what the Vatican has done to be more envionmentally friendly!
Liturgical Choir Concert
Come and share the music of Michael Joncas and other St. Thomas composers for a hymn festival on Sunday, May 4th and 2:00pm in the St. Thomas Chapel!
Lectio Divina
Join Archbishop John Nienstedt and fellow students in an hour praying scriptures from 8:00-9:00pm in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas Sunday, May 4th.
