
Welcome to the home of Student Leadership Selection 2008-2009. The Department of Campus & Residence Life, Dean of Students, International Student Services, and Multicultural Student Services are proud to present a comprehensive student leadership application and selection process.
■ To see an overview of the positions and to review their time commitments, please view the position chart and click on the attachments below. Being familiar with the job description will help you prepare a better cover letter and resume. Also, please make sure you are familiar with any dates and deadlines before applying.
■ After reviewing the positions descriptions, you will need to create a cover letter and resume. Please note: There are very specific questions we would like you to address in your cover letter. Click for detailed intructions . If you need assistance developing a cover letter and resume, please visit the Career Development Center
■ After completing your cover letter and resume, you will need to visit e-Recruiting.You will be asked to create a profile and upload your cover letter and resume. If you are a grad student please contact Chad Kluck to gain access to e-Recruiting.
■ Don’t forget, you will also need two reference forms. Have your reference complete the form, seal it in an envelope, and sign the seal on the back. Please bring the references with you to your interview.
■ Be sure to check your e-mail on February 8th as we will be sending out interview invitations at that time. We’ll include instructions on how to sign up for the interview via e-Recruiting. Since the time slots fill quickly, you’ll want to sign up as soon as possible.
■ Attention Study Abroad Students
If you are studying abroad during the Spring semester please apply through the normal process. When writing your cover letter, please indicate that you will be studying abroad and list the best way to contact you. In February, you will be contacted to set up an interview.
