Dance Team

The University of St. Thomas Dance Team plays an important role in school spirit. The team performs at all home football games, halftime at men's and women's basketball games, pep rallies, parades and other on-campus and University-related events.

Cheer Team

The University of St. Thomas Cheer Team is a university-sponsored team housed within the Department of Campus Life and Spirit Program. The Cheer Team is coached by Suzy Amundson and is open to all UST students female and male. The purpose of the team is to promote school spirit through its participation at athletic events, campus activities and off-campus promotions. The team will perform high stunting, spirit dancing, tumbling and sideline cheering at football games and men's and women's basketball games.

Tommie and the Mascot Team

The Tommie Mascot Team consists of up to six UST students. The students will appear as Tommie and/or escort Tommie at various on campus events. The purpose of the Mascot Team is to foster and promote school spirit through the use of Tommie and a team of students that escort Tommie and provide a vocal spirit in addition to Tommie's animation spirit. The Tommie Escorts wear various UST paraphernalia, hand out giveaways, use face paint, throw footballs or basketballs, use various instruments to generate fan participation at athletic events and escort Tommie.

Fanamaniac

Come and show your Tommie pride at any one of the Fanamaniac events with STAR! There will be free food and giveaways. Who knows? You just may see Tommie!

Pep Band

The University of St. Thomas Pep Band is a university sponsored band housed within the Department of Campus Life and Spirit Program. The band is directed by Jeff Rinear and is open to all St. Thomas students. It will perform at various school functions and athletic contests. The band is spirit focused and will use a combination of traditional and modern music to present a popular sound. It is not a marching band, but on occasion may be mobile.

Tommie Tuesday

Every Tuesday is full of purple and grey at St. Thomas. All members of the St. Thomas community is encouraged to wear purple and grey every Tuesday to show their Tommie Spirit. If Tommie spots you wearing purple you may just win a prize. So make sure you wear your purple and grey and make every Tuesday, a Tommie Tuesday.
