Tuition Payments

Information as of the 2008-2009 Academic Year

The University of St. Thomas accepts payment of student accounts by cash, check, or money order.   We regret to inform you that we do not accept payments via credit card. 

To continue offering the functionality of real time payments via the web, we have implemented webCheck, an electronic method of payment that directly accesses your checking account.  Payments are processed through MURPHY on-line, https://banner.stthomas.edu.  For security purposes, the student's Personal Identification Number (PIN) is required to access this system.

Payments are due the 19th of each month.  Accounts with an unpaid balance are subject to a 1.1% monthly finance charge.  Failure to receive a bill does not relieve the student from their financial obligation, any finance charges, or other penalties that may occur if the account is not paid by the monthly due date. 

Tuition and other charges (room, board, etc.) are billed at the end of August for the Fall semester, at the end of December for January term (J-term), and at the end of January for the Spring term.  Summer session is billed at the end of May.  We have three payment options available.
