Attention: Even if you have received or signed up for a direct deposit refund from UST in the past - the following still applies to you!

UST is changing the student account refund process. Starting October 29, 2009, as a UST student you will have the control to maintain your own banking information via the online TouchNet eBilling and ePayment system. No longer will you need to submit a form with your banking information and a voided check to the Business Office. No more worries about refund checks in the mail - when it will come or which address it was sent to. No need to wonder if your banking information on file is accurate and up to date. You will have the access to input, delete, and update your eRefund profile (bank account data) as needed - online, anytime, anywhere.

The benefits of eRefunds include:

• Swift - your Refunds in your bank account faster
• Secure - no lost, delayed, or stolen refund checks in the mail
• Confidential - no need to share your bank account data with others
• Convenient - no need to go to the bank to deposit refund checks or contact the Business Office to update your account information if needed

Saving an eRefund Profile is so easy:

1. Log into the new eBilling/ePayment system via Murphy online.
2. Once in Murphy select Student Services > Student Account > View bill and/or make a payment.
3. Now in the TouchNet system, select "My Profiles" located in the area near the upper right corner.
4. Select "Payment Profile" located on the purple menu bar in the upper center part of the page.
5. There are two options for what to do next:
   1. If you have previously saved your bank account profile - select the pencil icon under "Actions" and then select the check box under the heading "Refund Options" and click save to complete your eRefunds profile set-up. A green check mark should now appear under the "Use for Refunds" heading. That's it!
   2. If you have not previously saved your bank account profile - go on to step 6.
6. Using the drop down menu under "Add a Payment Method" select "Electronic Check (checking/savings)" and click the "Go" button.
7. Enter your bank account information as requested - remember to use the drop down menu to select the account type as checking or savings and make sure to enter your information carefully to avoid any typos. Check the box next to "Refund Option" and then click save.
8. Read the agreement information carefully and check the box next to "I Agree" in order to proceed.
9. You should now see your account under "My Payment Methods" with a green check mark under "Use for Refunds" That's it! Your eRefunds profile is now set up.

The first refund disbursement will be processed approximately 10 days after the add/drop period at the beginning of the semester. Throughout the year, direct deposits occur daily.
