Learners to Leaders (L2L) is a professional networking and leadership development initiative designed to support the educational and career success of college students and recent college graduates from under-represented communities who have demonstrated leadership ability and expressed an interest in continuing their education at the graduate level.

L2L offers participants an opportunity to meet other accomplished, high-potential students and young professionals from around the region, as well as professors, current graduate students and recent graduate school alumni from a variety of disciplines.
As a longstanding educational leader in Minnesota, St. Thomas is firmly committed to the communities we serve – communities that contribute to the diversity and vitality of the university. Our goal is to strengthen these communities and our programs by engaging high-potential students in an ongoing conversation about the opportunities and benefits of a graduate education.
Nominees should possess the following key qualities:
Solid academic achievement (3.0 GPA minimum, 3.5 GPA preferred)
Demonstrated leadership contributions
Expressed interest in graduate education in any field
- A commitment to support increased participation of under-represented minorities in graduate degree-granting programs and professional leadership positions
Interested candidates are encouraged to engage an academic mentor, faculty member, supervisor or colleague to request a nomination.
