The Master of Science in Accountancy, the most established program of its kind in Minnesota, now includes more flexibility and professional development. This program will help you earn your 150 credits toward CPA licensure, polish your professional skills, establish your professional network, and give you the confidence and personal support you need to succeed and excel. 

New in Fall 2016:

  • A Professional Licensure Preparation and Strategy course, designed to prepare you to pass the CPA examination
  • An updated curriculum with new 1½ credit courses in:
    • International Accounting
    • Advanced Managerial Decision Making
    • Tax Research
    • Forensic Accounting

With the new St. Thomas MSA, we have eliminated the need for you to delay accepting an internship or full-time offer by providing all our curriculum on a flexible schedule. Be one of the newest graduates of the MSA program, continuing our tradition of producing outstanding accountants for the world's best firms.  Our graduates are recognized by corporate partners as being better prepared, more experienced and able to exhibit personal attributes that set them apart from others.


Application Deadlines

The Master of Science in Accountancy is currently accepting applications for coursework beginning January, 2017.  New this year: Junior- and senior-standing accounting students accepted into the MSA can begin their graduate studies with Professional Development during J-term, 2017. We encourage interested and qualified applicants to apply as early as possible.
