Skyline Exhibits, an Eagan-based company specializing in trade-show exhibit systems, last month became the smallest company to win the Outstanding Corporate Innovator Award (OCI), a prestigious national innovation award, presented last month by the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA). Past winners include Apple, Harley-Davidson, FedEx and UnitedHealth Group.
In a Star Tribune profile of the company, Opus College of Business career coach Tom Colosimo notes that Skyline Exhibits was "competitive in pricing and yet being creative in their products from raw materials to the architectural design." Skyline's creativity and innovation led Colosimo to take a group of 50 UST MBA students to tour the company's facilities.
