How can a small company use social media while respecting client privacy?

In the Star Tribune's weekly "Ask the Consultant" column, Liz Crystal of the LC Group asks if it's possible for a small firm to use social media while respecting the privacy of its clients. Dr. Mike Porter, director of the Opus College of Business' Master of Business Communication program,  says that this is a common problem, best served by alternating between "push" and "pull" approaches.
