How Falling Stock Prices Will Impact Average Minnesotans

Uncertainty on Wall Street and concern over the downgrading of the US credit rating drove the Dow Jones Industrial Average down more than 600 points Monday.
Professor David Vang of the University of St. Thomas says average Minnesotans will see the impact in their retirement savings, "I think the typical Minnesotan is going to see it in their 401k that the value of their stocks are going to be down right now, and they'll probably see more volatility over the next few weeks perhaps because of this."
