Comcast believes its new Xfinity Signature Support service, which makes its debut today in the Twin Cities, Atlanta and Chattanooga, Tenn., will allow it to make more visits to your home — both in person and through a tech support help line. A national rollout will follow and be completed by summer, Comcast says.
"It's not like turning on your television anymore. There's so much more connectivity, whether it's your cable or your satellite or Internet television, and most people are not going to be able to do it themselves," said David Brennan, co-director of the Institute for Retailing Excellence at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business.
