Shea Eldredge '10 is motivating kids to launch their own businesses as a part-time youth organizer with the Selby Area Community Development Corp., a free program that teaches youngsters ages 9 to 16 how to launch and run their own businesses.

Eldredge has been leading the club's lessons using some of her own college textbooks, as well as guest speakers from local businesses. "You're talking a lot about math, you're writing a business plan, you're really thinking about language," she said. "These kids are the next generation, and the future of entrepreneurship."
