Supervalu struggles may mean lower prices for shoppers

Twin Cities supermarket chain SuperValu is struggling financially, but this could mean lower prices for shoppers. The company's stock price dropped dramatically after it reported dismal first-quarter results and a massive cut in food prices in order to be competitive. When asked for comment by KARE-11, UST finance professor Dave Vang said " It's bad news for investors, but good news for shoppers. It's a competitive environment now."
