Tax prep software: different programs, different results

Getting into the spirit of tax season, KARE 11 conducted the experiment of running a family's tax numbers through three different tax-prep programs, and got different results from each one. Opus College of Business accounting professor Rich Sathe was not surprised when asked about the variance, noting that "always with taxes there's some judgment involved."
