MBA Women International

MBA Women International is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering female business professionals, assisting women into leadership positions in business and enhancing the diversity of the workforce worldwide. MBAWI serves four related client groups: female MBA students, female business professionals and entrepreneurs, universities and corporate partners.

UST MBAWI Chapter Objectives

The directive of the UST MBAWI chapter is to help UST MBA students be prepared for successful business careers. By initiating varied events and activities, the organization’s objective is to connect UST MBA students with inspiring women professionals and provide them with the opportunity to make a difference in their community. Our goals are to

  • Enhance the professional development of members through activities such as speakers events, professional panels and networking events
  • Provide networking opportunities with the regional and national chapters of MBA Women International
  • Foster community through fund raiser events planned throughout the year in favor of a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and supporting women through education
  • Promote the UST MBA as a premier program for graduate women in business

  • September: Kick-off meeting and volleyball tournament (fund raiser)

  • November: Fireside chat
  • December: Christmas bake-off (fund raiser)
  • February: Fireside chat
  • March: Panel with women professionals and club elections
  • April: Cook-off (fund raiser) and transition dinner
  • May: End of year
