JD/MBA Student Interest Group

Our Mission:

The JD/MBA Club seeks to facilitate, improve, and strengthen the experience, profile, and network of the JD/MBA program at the Opus College of Business and the University of St. Thomas School of Law. We seek to do this through building connections among JD/MBA students and between JD/MBA students and faculty, businesses, law firms, and the Twin Cities community.

Objectives

The JD/MBA Club is focused on personal and professional development opportunities, and social interaction with both schools. The club seeks to provide opportunities for UST JD/MBA students to gain exposure to a variety of careers relating to both law and business, meet other JD/MBA students and alumni, and to facilitate ease of scheduling and cohesion between the law school and the business school.

Membership

All students enrolled in the JD/MBA program at the University of St. Thomas are automatically members of the JD/MBA Club.  We also welcome students who have previously obtained either their JD or MBA at any university and who are now enrolled at either Opus College of Business or the School of Law to obtain the second degree, or those who are currently enrolled at Opus College of Business or the Law School and are applying to the dual degree program.  Other individuals not pursuing both degrees but who are interested in issues at the intersection of law and business are encouraged to contact us to learn more about our events and relationships with other organizations.
