• Director of the Graduate Programs in Real Estate and the Shenehon Center for Real Estate at the University of St. Thomas.
• Senior vice president at Coldwell Banker Commercial Griffin Companies in Minneapolis. 
• Has been involved in the investment analysis, financing, acquisition and/or development of properties with a cost in excess of $80,000,000 through the use of both private and public funding.
• Has a strong background of experience in working with multi-family, affordable housing, office, mixed use and retail properties.
• Involved with a wide variety of financing options including tax increment financing, tax credits, housing revenue bonds, HUD financing, FNMA and other conventional financing.
• Has worked with cities, counties, and other government agencies to resolve zoning, density, permitting and financing issues.
• Has prepared numerous investment analyses for a wide variety of potential investments.
• Has experience helping clients with special situations around commercial real estate helping people solve problems created by the downturn in the market. Services provided include workouts, loan and/or lease renegotiation, property tax appeals and cost segregation analysis.
• Holds a Minnesota real estate agent's license.
• As a vice president of a mezzanine finance company, Mr. Tousley has assisted in the preparation, submission and issuance of a $5 million Regulation D securities offering of subordinated debentures for real estate acquisitions and development.
• Has been instrumental in raising capital for subordinated debt and equity for commercial real estate projects from high net worth individuals as well as institutional investors.
