The Center for Ethical Business Cultures invites you to the third in a series of seven discussions on organizational culture, particularly the challenges of sustaining a commitment to ethical conduct.

How do we ensure that the organization’s routine processes and practices align with the organization’s core values? Some argue that the loudest and most persuasive influence telling employees what is valued is the way things are done, not what is said. A critical dimension of the CEBC model of ethical culture, this “process alignment” challenge confronts every organization, large or small. Values alignment extends to performance reviews, promotions, sales and purchasing practices, hiring decisions – any business process that might reinforce or undercut core values and ethical practices. How do we test the alignment of a process against core values,or values against a routine process or practice? How do we seek out gaps between what we say and what we do? How do we encourage employees to raise questions and issues safely? Please join the conversation to share your insights and learn from others.

These are invitation-only meetings; they are not open to the public. For information on membership, see the Center for Ethical Business Cultures website.
