Center for Ethical Business Cultures (CEBC) research led to a multi-dimensional model of ethical culture. On June 15, we’ll introduce the key components and open a conversation focused on your insights with respect to the model and your experiences of organizational culture and ethics.

The model builds on six elements: core values, the role of leaders in modeling and reinforcing values, balancing the interests of multiple stakeholders, building business practices that are aligned with core values, ensuring an appropriate balance between short- and long-term perspectives on goals and objectives, and measuring the culture’s vitality. We also want to be clear about your expectations for the series of conversations in the coming year in terms of process and outcomes that will provide practical value to you. We invite you to be part of an engaging dialogue on culture.

These are invitation-only meetings; they are not open to the public. For information on membership, see the Center for Ethical Business Cultures website.

The goal: Build practical applications that help bring the framework to life in ways that you can take back into your organization; and help all of us shape cohesive, purposeful strategies ensuring that ethical values inspire our organizations.

Format: Meetings will convene at the St. Thomas Minneapolis Campus. Each discussion will begin promptly with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. followed by discussion from 8-9:30 a.m.. We will adjourn at 9:30 a.m. Sessions will be facilitated by Ron James, president and CEO of the center; alternatively, we may invite a member of the group to serve as facilitator for a particular topic.
