Building Ethical Culture at HealthPartners

Friday, May 6, 8:00 AM

Presented by the Center for Ethical Business Cultures

What strategies has HealthPartners pursued to create an organizational culture aligned with its core values, and how might its experience inform your own company’s efforts? Second, what can you share with others about the culture challenge?

CEBC Members Only
Please join us at HealthPartners on Friday, May 6, from 8 - 9:30 a.m. for a CEBC Members Roundtable discussion on creating an ethical organizational culture.

To see if your company is a member of the Center, please visit the CEBC Membership page.

Ron James, CEBC's president and CEO, will facilitate a conversation featuring HealthPartners’ Calvin Allen and Tobi Tanzer, who will share their insights on shaping culture.

  • Calvin Allen is senior vice president for strategic planning and human resources. He is spearheading efforts to transform the culture at HealthPartners to meet the demands of the health care industry. His vision is to create a culture of service that exceeds the customer’s expectations.
  • Tobi Tanzer is vice president of corporate integrity and corporate compliance officer and privacy officer. She is responsible for overseeing and implementing the compliance and privacy programs for all of the organizations in HealthPartners’ family of care, including HealthPartners health plans and clinics, Regions Hospital, the HealthPartners Research Foundation and several other health care providers.

We expect they will stimulate a lively roundtable discussion tapping the experiences of others in the room.  This 90-minute exchange will enable you to gather ideas you can consider or put to work in your organization.
