State Senator Mee Moua to Speak at St. Thomas

Born in Laos, Senator Mee Moua immigrated to the United States in 1978. She earned a bachelor of arts degree from Brown University, a master of public policy degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from the University of Minnesota.

Senator Moua is the first Hmong American elected to a U.S. state office. She currently represents District 67 in Minnesota, encompassing parts of St. Paul and Ramsey County.

She has dedicated herself to youth and children issues, and is a champion of causes that promote freedom, equality and opportunity for all. 

This special event is open to the public and free of charge.
