The Aristotle Fund at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business is pleased to present guest speaker Phil Dow, managing director of equity strategy for RBC Dain Rauscher.

The Aristotle Fund is a student-managed investment fund run under the auspices of the University of St. Thomas and made possible by an anonymous donation.

Phil Dow has more than 30 years experience in the securities business. In his job with RBC Dain Rauscher, Dow travels the country meeting with the firm's financial consultants and their clients, advising them on how best to manage their financial assets. He is also the firm's chief markets spokesperson, providing commentary and analysis on the markets to the media.

Dow began his career at RBC Dain Rauscher in 1997. Previously, he was a branch manager then director of retail equity marketing for Piper Jaffray Minneapolis for 11 years. Earlier in his career, Dow held positions as a regional sales officer at Kidder Peabody and syndicate manager at H.O. Peet & Co. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kans.
