This introductory workshop, presented by experienced specialists from the Internal Revenue Service’s Exempt Organizations Division, covers the nuts and bolts of tax compliance for small- and mid-sized exempt organizations. The workshop covers what 501(c)(3) organizations must do to comply with tax obligations and keep their tax exempt status. It is designed for board members, officers, volunteers and staff of 501(c)(3) organizations, tax practitioners who work with them and students in nonprofit management programs.
